To be more clear, if you view an algorithmic list and click the text that says “This appears on X lists” under an item, it should take you to a list of all the lists that contain that item.

Actually, it kind of already does this. If you click on an item in the list, the item’s page will show up to 5 of the lists that contain that item.
What really needs to be done is to lift the 5-list cap on the item page.
